DELIVERY AND SHIPPING POLICY

Orders processed within 24-48 hours of payment confirmation. Orders placed on weekends ship next business day. High-demand periods may extend processing time. Customer receives confirmation email upon shipment. Custom orders require 5-7 business days processing.

All shipments include tracking number sent via email and SMS. Customers can track packages through Montale account or carrier website. Tracking updates occur every 24 hours. Delivery status notifications sent automatically. International tracking may have delays.
Article 6. Delivery Address
Customer must provide complete and accurate shipping address. Montale not responsible for delays due to incorrect address. Address changes possible before order ships. PO boxes accepted for standard shipping only. Business addresses require company name.
Article 7. Signature Requirements
High-value orders require signature upon delivery. Recipient must be 18 years or older. Valid ID may be requested by carrier. Alternative recipient can sign with authorization. Signature waiver available upon request with liability acceptance.
Article 8. Customs and Duties
International orders subject to customs fees and import taxes. Customer responsible for all customs charges. Duties calculated by destination country regulations. Montale declares accurate product value. Packages may be held for customs clearance.
Article 9. Shipping Restrictions
Perfumes with alcohol content subject to hazardous material regulations. Air shipping follows IATA dangerous goods guidelines. Certain carriers impose quantity limits. Some countries prohibit alcohol-based perfume imports. Ground shipping may be required for specific destinations.
Article 10. Packaging Standards
All perfumes packaged in protective materials. Signature aluminum bottles secured with bubble wrap. Outer boxes reinforced to prevent damage. Temperature-sensitive handling during extreme weather. Discreet packaging available upon request.
Article 11. Failed Delivery Attempts
Carrier makes up to 3 delivery attempts. Customer notified after each failed attempt. Package held at local facility for 5-7 days. Unclaimed packages returned to Montale. Reshipping fees apply for redelivery.
Article 12. Delivery Delays
Estimated delivery times are not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to weather, customs or carrier issues. Montale notifies customers of significant delays. Force majeure events excuse delivery obligations. Compensation not provided for carrier delays.
Article 13. Lost or Damaged Packages
Lost packages investigated after 14 days from ship date. Damaged items must be reported within 48 hours of delivery. Photos required for damage claims. Montale files claims with carrier. Replacement or refund issued after claim approval.
Article 14. Holiday Shipping
Extended processing times during peak seasons. Holiday cutoff dates posted on website. Express shipping recommended for time-sensitive gifts. December orders may experience delays. Order early for guaranteed holiday delivery.
